Once was lost but now am found

A short while ago I was reading Luke Chapter 15 and it tells of Jesus giving the parables unto the murmuring pharisees and scribes who had said of him saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
They thought that they were good men and thought that good men shouldn't speak or even associate with sinners, and that they thought Jesus should do likewise. The Savior wanted to teach the pharisees that they were wrong. he wanted to help them understand the reason he was with sinners.
The first parable is about The Lost Sheep, Jesus tells of a good shepherd with a hundred sheep, and that one of them was lost. he left the other ninety and nine to search for the one sheep that was lost. When he found it he was very happy, he put it upon his shoulders and carried it home. He than invited his friends and neighbors to join in his rejoicing for that which was found.

The Savior taught that the sheep represent people in life, some are unfortunate enough to loose their way in life and become subject to sin and there will be great joy in heaven when one sinner repents, more than over ninety-nine righteous beings, which need no repentance.

The Second Parable is about The Lost Coin, "Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? Luke 15:8." the woman is an example of a church member who has a friend in the church who is becoming lost in their life, due to carelessness of the person the friend is lost and the person starts looking for them constantly until they are found.

"And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. Luke 15:9." This is an example of when a member of the church finds a friend who has become less active in the church, that they are able to bring back into the church. Jesus wants Church members to find the lost brother or sister and to care for them and bring them back. He is very happy when this happens. Jesus the Christ, pages 455–456.

The Third and Last Parable is The Prodigal Son.

"And he said, A certain man had two sons: And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. Luke 15:11–12." The young lad took the money and left home, he went to another land and wastes his inheritance in riotous living. The time came that he had no money for food, very hungry and desperate he asked for help from a man, the man gave him a job feeding pigs. eventually he was so hungry that he wanted to eat the pigs food, he knew the servants at home had better food than what he was having. "I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. (Luke 15:18-19)." The young man went unto his father and the father saw his son from a far way off and ran to the son and took his son into his arms and kissed. him and tried to tell this to his father but his father would none hear of it and prepared a big feast in his sons honor, in that his son had returned, his son was lost but now was found.

How proud the father was in the son that had returned home and had repented of all his sins, like Heavenly Father waiting for all his sons and daughters who have lead sin filled lives that make their way back to be able to be in his presence. This is a story that tells that God wants each of his children to be able to return to him, but they can't until they repent. God wants sinners to repent so that they can come back to Him.
